She quit her full-time job producing web content in Brooklyn and moved out to Iowa to attend the one-year M.A. program. Her favorite film director, David Lynch, personally watched and judged her short film “Horizon” in the short film competition naming it a finalist to be accepted into the unique program. Jennifer is currently in post-production on her master thesis film “Kennedy Hill” which she wrote, produced and directed and is set in the late 1930s about 17 year-old Grace who finds out she’s adopted. In search of her birth family, she journeys away from home and ends up discovering who her true family is. Upon discussing the film with her mentor, David Lynch remarked “that’s a great story.”

Now living and working in New York City, Jennifer recently completed principal photography on Freak Show, as Trudie Styler’s director’s assistant on her directorial debut. The film stars Bette Milder, Alex Lawther, Abigail Breslin, Larry Pine, Laverne Cox and John McEnroe.
